In an age of endless gear options, it’s tempting to pack every lens you own. But there’s something liberating about walking out the door with just one.

Whether it’s a 35mm for street, a 50mm for portraits, or a wide-angle for landscapes, a single lens forces you to work within its constraints. You move your feet more, think about composition differently, and get to know that lens intimately.

Some of the most memorable series in photography history were shot with one focal length. Less gear can mean more focus — literally and creatively.
